how do you use 被 in a sentence？

被 is used before a verb and object to change the verb into a passive verb.

e.g. 我吻了我妈吗 = I kissed my mum
      我被吻了我妈吗 = I was kissed by my mum.

you can see how the second sentence is passive something happened to the subjects rather than the subject doing something to the object.
