after 被 does the subject who did the action or verb come first, or is it interchangeable?

in this structure, the person who does the action comes after the verb and is the object of the sentence. the receiver of the action is the subject and comes before the 被

i picked this as the best answer, but I'm pretty sure when using the 被 structure the object should go before the verb. i.e. 我被我妈妈吻了

i agree with you:我妈妈 is the agent of the action and has to be introduced by 被. you can also use 被 without agent at all when you just want to express a passive action without saying "by who": 我被吻了means "i've been kissed"(implicitly by someone)
