妙 means subtle and wonderful.
渺 means distant and indistinct.

玄妙 is a common word, in which 玄 and 妙 are very similar in meaning. It has a long history in Chinese language.

玄渺 is uncommon.
Sometimes (i.e., in this work of 朱光潜's), it is probably a writing mistake of 玄妙.
玄渺 seems to be a newly coined word if not misspelt.
I recommend you ignore this. It won't contribute to your Chinese study.

Could you show us where you found this word 玄渺? I am not sure if it exists actually. I only know 玄妙.
