schmarty-pants is just a colloquialism for smarty-pants, which is slang for a know it all or someone who often corrects other people

I'm guessing this sentence is from the The Power of One.  Without more context, I couldn't tell you what the game is.

second #hackpgh Arduino class?  My guess is #hackpgh Arduino class is some kind of event, perhaps an abbreviation for said event, and this person attended the second one.  Here twitter might be useful: http://twitter.com/HackPGH.  The easier way the find out where the class is would be to ask them and the feedback survey could be anywhere, so again ask them.  My question, how did you come across these strange sentences?

I guess what you found in twitter is a user name who happened to choose "schmarty-pant" as his/her account name.

In Google, I found this:

Hard druve buffers

ok...enough with the schmarty pants. Buffer is a place to hold data that comes from the drive, that may available before the CPU is ready for it. ...
www.tomshardware.com/forum/139633-32-hard-druve-buffers - 127k

And according to other results, I guess it is an idiom or slang which can be used to describe a kind of person.
