Hello Mino,<br/>thanks for your illuminating answer which shows how careful one has to be when hand-copying Chinese characters. Nevertheless, I found on the web more than 1 400 000 instances of "午奶", apparently used in the sense of milk (喝午奶或酸奶会长胖么?)! Still, it did not bring me closer to my main concern which is: what is 炸牛奶 (or deep fried milk, as it said on the card) which I ate during my recent visit in China. I can't see how one would fry milk. I know that this is a rather culinary than linguistic question, but if you can, please try!<br/>Many thanks<br/>Frank
